Lynsey is a disabled Mum, Wife, author, business owner from Shoeburyness in Essex, England.Being born and raised with Cerebral Palsy in the 80s/90s was difficult. Disability and accessibility were not discussed or considered. But....Lynsey wasn't going to sit there (pun intended) and put up with things the way they were. So she's spent her life writing, showing up and being a part of the change. That's reflected in her debut book - disabled people can be fully involved and great parents too. Their laser business started out of necessity - her husband worked on the oil rigs and really wanted to leave. They also wanted to start a family and as Lynsey's health becomes more complicated they needed him to be at home more.So slowly but surely BMUK is becoming their main business giving them the freedom and privilege of time.
