Witness tells of how government funds were channelled to Gupta-owned businesses

SAfm — National treasury employee Jan Gilliland has revealed how 11 bank accounts related to Gupta owned companies received million of rands from government. Gilliland has been testifying at the State Capture Commission of Inquiry sitting in Parktown Johannesburg. This week, Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo who chairs the commission, will also deliver judgement on whether those who have applied to cross examine witnesses that have incriminated them, will be granted their request. More names of witnesses are set to be announced in the coming weeks. Gilliland had the following to say.
