Vs 33-35 God’s prophet, John the Baptist, testified to the deity of Christ. Vs 36 The supernatural miracles of Jesus Christ are irrefutable evidence that He is God in human form. Vs 37-39 God’s word validates the deity of Christ through hundreds of predictions about His birth, life, ministry, death, resurrection, and Messianic kingdom. Vs 40 People reject Christ, not because of the evidence, but because they love their sin and refuse to give it up. Vs 41-44 People reject Christ because they love the approval of people more than the approval of God. Vs 45-47 People reject Christ because they refuse to believe everything the Bible says.
