Witt & Jensen Shatter Royals Records | Kansas City Royals News

Bobby Witt Jr. is rewriting Royals history with his 40th stolen base of the season—only the fifth player in franchise history to hit that mark twice—and just two homers away from joining an elite 20-40 club. Rookie catcher Carter Jensen is also smashing records, tying the Royals’ rookie home run record at 24 and extending his consecutive extra-base streak to 12—a rookie Expansion Era best. Both players are racking up accolades from teammates and coaches, with Witt refining his speed into a strategic weapon and Jensen delivering consistent, clutch at-bats. With Jac Caglianone back in the lineup, the Royals’ offense is gaining momentum as they push toward a historic finish.
