Witt Jr. Walks It Off for Royals | Kansas City Royals News

Bobby Witt Jr. delivered a walk-off RBI single in the ninth to rally the Royals past the Athletics 4-3, sparking a dramatic comeback after trailing by three runs. His clutch hit — his only knock of the game — underscored his MVP-caliber season: .287 batting average, 15 homers, 47 RBIs, and 33 steals in 108 games. In his last 15 contests, he’s scorching at .333 with 2 homers and 8 RBIs. A three-time All-Star, Witt Jr. continues to shine under pressure, even as the Royals (53-74) remain stuck in rebuilding mode since their 2015 playoff run. With him leading the charge, there’s hope this franchise is finally turning the corner. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
