Wiyot Tribe Hits the Accelerator on Affordable Housing

from KMUD News · host KMUD News

The Wiyot Tribe's three affordable housing projects in Eureka are gathering steam; with one of them already underway, another fully financed, and initial funding secured for the third one. In this KMUD in-depth special, Sigur-Björn reports on the progress made, speaks to people involved, and addresses what will be gained—and lost—with the completion of these projects.   KMUD has now officially lost its funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which any given year covers up to 30% of our already limited budget. If you value reports on local issues such as this one, we ask you to donate to the station to help make up for the shortfall. You can do that online by:*Going to our donation page on kmud.org*Giving directly through our Venmo Account (@KMUDRadio) Or by mailing a check made out to Redwood Community Radio, Inc.PO Box 135,  1144 Redway Dr.Redway, CA 95560 Thank you for your consideration!
