We start very nearly exactly where we left off in the last book, and turns out that there's a whole OTHER conversation that was happening between Tom and their dad in the last book! It had nothing to even do with the whole Sun thing at all!And we're getting one of my most beloved/feared tropes of all time: "Wait, what about the authority figures who are better at this than us?
