WM Morrison Supermarkets plc v Various Claimants [2020] UKSC 12

Morrisons employee Andrew Skelton held a grudge against his employer and decided to illegally release payroll information onto the web. He was jailed but the victims of his crime brought a case against the supermarket chain in a bid to try and claim compensation.
