WNBA Offers Necessary CBA Extension To Avoid Lockout.. But The Players STILL Aren’t Happy.
from Courtside Club with Rachel DeMita · host Stay RAD Inc.
Today we have some WNBA CBA updates… the never ending CBA negotiations continue and the official deadline for the league. The WNBA has offered players a 30 day extension for a new collective bargaining agreement. The extension would allow both sides more time to work toward a new deal. A source said players would be open to the extension to avoid a work stoppage under the right circumstances, but those circumstances do not exist. Basically the players at this point in time are saying they’re not sure if they’re even going to accept the offer of an extension. They can either accept the extension offered, not take the extension but continue negotiating in good faith, OR thirdly… the players could strike, OR the owners can initiate the lockout.Subscribe to #CourtsideClub now 👏: Spotify 🔗: https://spoti.fi/3QyFchC Apple 🔗: https://apple.co/3QyFqoY INSTAGRAM 📸: http://instagram.com/rademita/ TIKTOK 📹: https://www.tiktok.com/@rademita TWITTER 💬: https://twitter.com/RADeMita Hosted on Acast.
