我們可能有聽過：「我只是在開玩笑，這是幽默，你們怎麼這麼認真。」有些孩子與他人交流時，總是習慣站在自己的角度，「只要我喜歡有什麼不可以」，所以講話總是隨心所欲，一不小心就傷害了別人，或是開了一些不該開的玩笑，這不僅可能造成永久性的傷害，也會顯得自己沒有分寸。父母應從小即時糾正孩子的觀念，將「只要我喜歡有什麼不可以」的觀念糾正成為「只要有人不喜歡，我就一定不可以。」從旁引導孩子們學會察言觀色、明辨是非，一旦發現有讓他人感到不舒服，就應立即停止玩笑。
