Woliczko Steps Into Iowa’s Legacy

McKenna Woliczko, a five-star recruit with McDonald’s All-American and FIBA gold medalist credentials, is poised to make an instant impact at Iowa women’s basketball — and she’s got the support she needs. Former Hawkeye star Kate Martin, who wore number 20, has personally blessed Woliczko to take on the same number, symbolizing a powerful bridge between eras. As Iowa enters a new chapter following Caitlin Clark’s departure, Woliczko leads a promising recruiting class under coach Jan Jensen, carrying forward the legacy while forging her own path.
