Woman on woman violence is under the spotlight

SAfm — This Women's Day, the taboo subject of women perpetrating violence against each other, came under the spotlight. A young female DJ was allegedly attacked by an older female patron at a restaurant in Umhlanga, north of Durban. Carly Bernadette Oosthuizen, popularly known as DJ Carly O, took to social media after her alleged attack. She says she wanted to speak out against women-on-women violence. In a security video that has since surfaced, the elderly female is seen hurling ice and verbally abusing Oosthuizen. Rachel Vadi reports.
