When asked to leave, the suspect refused and attempted to exit the store with unpaid merchandise. Despite repeated requests to place the items down, she became more confrontational. The situation escalated when the suspect struck the officer with a soda can, followed by other objects, leading to a physical struggle. Despite the suspect's mental health challenges, the officer successfully detained her.
