Woman to Man / Man to Woman 2: What Part Do You Play?

from "Manifest Wholeness In Spirit and Truth" · host Manifest Wholeness in Spirit and Truth with Apostle Angela Dee

Let’s touch on a few things we touched on in episode 12. My husband brought up the wife being submissive, and we, as women/wives, hear that first when the conversation is about men and women or marriage; the wife is to be submissive to her husband.  First, I want to say being submissive to my husband is the wife’s comment. The husband’s submissive is also essential; he needs to be submissive to God as the head and then to his wife.    We cannot justify not being disciplined on our part because our spouse is not doing their part. In doing that, we are putting up stumble blocks for our spouses. So then, let us pursue what makes for peace and mutual upbuilding (see Romans 14:19 ESV).   Therefore, the husband can’t stop loving, providing, or protecting their wife because she is not doing her part. Thus, a wife cannot fulfill her position as the helper in compassionate, enduring love, words of wisdom and kindness, and Fear of the Lord. Choosing suitable spouses, we end this episode with tidbits for our single brothers and sisters. Peace, love, and blessings!
