WOMEN IN GRIDIRON SHOW- WNFC UPDATE, THE PLAYBOOK - COUNTER CONCEPT, GA MEMBER SURVEY

In the “Warm-Up” we review our predictions from last week for the WNFC matches. First we look back on the Texas Elite Spartans and the Kansas City Glory game. Next we look at the Utah match against the Denver Bandits. We also give an update on GA nationals. In the “Playbook” we discuss the Counter Trap Concept. This advanced play is an old school gap scheme which gives you a man advantage during attacks, and how pivotal it is to the women’s game. It is a slow burning play which is a favourite of many O-lines. We also discuss the variations of the play that can be used and how it is an important to have in the playbook because of its versatility. Ending the week’s show on “Rapid Fire”, we talk about the GA members survey. We give our perspective about the survey and how it can be used to improve and develop the sport for women.
