Women in Neuroscience with Special Guest Katherine Boere

A prevalent problem in virtually all modern science is the disproportionately low number of women in the field. This lack of representation of women in science starts at a young age, and persists into later stages of many STEM professions. In today's episode of That Neuroscience Guy, we invite Katherine Boere, a PhD student in the Krigolson Lab and leader in the Women in STEM movement at the University of Victoria, to discuss the barriers for women in the field, where they come from, and how we can take them down.  Edit: Audio now fixed.
