Women in the Workforce

Women who are working make about 77 cents for every dollar their male counterpart earns. For African American women the number is 64 cents and Hispanic women make 54 cents. In addition to the wage gap women are often hired in the lowest paying jobs. On the next Another View we'll talk about an innovative program designed to help women get a leg up in the workforce.
