Women Who Rock!

Wanda Jackson is known as the “Queen Of Rockabilly” and shared the stage with many of the top acts in the fifties.  And she’s kept on rockin’ her whole life…releasing an album in 2011 with Jack White of the White Stripes. In 2021 Wanda released “Encore”, an album produced by Joan Jett. Wanda was 82 years old. This week the Vinyl Tap trip through time looks at some of the other women who rocked and many who still do. The playlist includes Heart, Joan Jett, Alanis Morissette, Stevie Nicks, Pink, Pat Benatar, Janis Joplin and many others.
