Malissa Smith, boxing historian that specializes in women's boxing chats with Cynthia for BWBSP about her second book "Promise of Women's Boxing: A Momentus New Era for the Sweet Science," that will be released June 4. Smith will be having a book launch party at the famous Gleason's Gym in New York City June 15 open to the public with an all-female women in boxing panel.Smith spoke on the premise of her new book and why it was time after 10 years, to write another one after her first book, "A History of Women's Boxing," in 2014.
