Women’s Heritage At Risk Walking Tour Of Ennis

As part of National Heritage Week, a special walking tour of Ennis will shine a light on the often-overlooked stories of women who helped shape the town and county.  “Walking in Her Footsteps: Women’s Heritage at Risk” takes place this Saturday, guided by historian Dr Jane O’Brien.  Jane joined Alan Morrissey to tell us more about the women whose stories deserve to be remembered — and why protecting women’s heritage matters.
