Women's Rights in India, The Caste System & Raising a Family: Women Of India (recorded in India)

Recorded on location in Southwestern India...an interview with three individual hard working women. First we will sit on the sand near the Arabian Sea with Eshota, who has been cutting coconuts everyday with machete for the past thirty years. Then we will sit on the floor of a small shop in an alley with Lakshmi and her baby to learn about the hardships of farming during the heat of an Indian summer and raising a family.
