WONDER WOMAN 1984 Brings Much "Meh..."

from Stolendroids Podcast

In 2017, Wonder Woman, a film that had been stuck in development since 1996, finally exploded into theaters. The wait was worth it as the film went on to earn more than $820 million at the box office. Additionally, it showed that a female-led superhero movie with a good script could be entertaining and successful. Considering the overall success that the film enjoyed, a sequel was inevitable. That sequel came out in December 2020. With simultaneous releases to the home streaming market and theaters, Warner Bros. did all they could to ensure that fans were actually able to see Wonder Woman 1984. Unfortunately, like with so many other DC superhero movies, they missed the mark with certain things. The special effects and story immediately come to mind. While Wonder Woman 1984 could have been so much more, it wasn't "Martha" bad. Listen as we discuss what was both good and not so good, about WW84 then let us know your thoughts. Are we being too harsh? Not harsh enough?
