Wonder Women 032 - Anastasia of Burnt River Wood Co. While working full time and commuting into the city, Anastasia knew she needed an outlet for all of her creative energy. She has been a creator as long as she can remember. From making custom pillow cases at the age of 12, to screen printing movie tees and crocheting bikini tops, she has always had a passion for making things from scratch. Her love for woodworking started in grade 9 shop class. She left with the dream of being a carpenter but was told it wasn't a job for a girl. After she met her husband, his dad took them into his shop and showed how to use the tools. That was when they created the first Burnt River Wood Co. project and it has just grown from there.
