Word of the Week – Dragon

The Disney Company has had its fair share of dragons over the years: Maleficent, Pete's Dragon, The Reluctant Dragon (that's a real thing; look it up) and more, but there might not be a more mysterious dragon in Disney history than the dragon in the logo of Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. That's why this week I chose that guy for my Word of the Week – Dragon. So why exactly is there a dragon in the official logo for Disney's Animal Kingdom? Why aren't there dragons (real or imaginary) in the park?
