This week the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion has heard harrowing stories; of school children being called ‘dirty Jews’ and others living in constant fear in the wake of the Bondi terrorist attack. Anthony Halas, gave evidence to the Royal Commission that the hatred of Jewish people has grown so bad he’s contemplated moving to Hungary - from where his parents fled the Holocaust.    A group of so-called ISIS brides and their children are finally on their way back home - but even before they’ve touched down federal police are threatening some with arrest. ANU counter-terrorism expert Dr Levi West says managing the return of these Australian citizens is a complex legal and fraught political issue.
