Forgiveness is doctrinal, v. 3Beliefs that are on display in forgiveness…a) soteriology- salvation/conversion“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”                -Ephesians 4:32b) ecclesiology- doctrine of the churchc) eschatology- the end times, or the final judgment and destiny of humanity“Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” For if you forgive others their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will you Father forgive your trespasses.”            -Matthew 6:11-152.
