Work in a Work-Obsessed Culture

from But Servants Hosted by Tim Nicholls

Work - it is the place that we spend most of our waking hours. We spend more time working than doing almost anything else. Malaysians work some of the longest hours in developed cities around the world. KL was recently rated #21 for average annual working hours in a global survey of cities. Living a distinctively Christian life in a work-obsessed culture can be very challenging. It is crucial that we have a clear understanding of God’s purpose for our work, so that we do not embrace the way of life of those around us. This seminar was delivered at the Impact UK Malaysia Conference on 8th August 2020.
