Work in Progress

from The AJNashville Podcast

If you understand the value of self love, you will know your own worth and make the healthy choices that benefit yourself. You have to love yourself and have a purpose you fully support. Believe in yourself and recognize that you are a work in progress.Sometimes we forget about our accomplishments and progress we have already made in order to be who we are today. Some actions we take may feel like failures or a step away from our success, but these moments should serve us as lessons to reflect back on and realize it had to happen in order for us to grow. Trying and "failing" is better than never even trying at all out of fear of the inevitable "failures" that happen as we figure out how to progress towards our goals and dreams. Many of us are taught to internalize our emotions and experiences from a young age by the generations before us. We are told to only show what we want others to see of us and keep the rest inside. But so much progress can be made when we are able to process and share with others our problems in a healthy way that gains us insight and feedback we may not be able to see for ourselves. It's the people inside the world that we surround ourselves with that make it worth being here for. Find somebody to listen, because nobody around you wants to listen to your eulogy. We have to be there for our people.
