Memory Verse: ‭‭"‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it..." - Zechariah‬ ‭4:9‬a ‭KJV‬‬ Bible Text: ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Exodus‬ ‭31:2‭-‬3‬ ‭KJV‬‬ 2. ‭‭See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah: 3. And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, INSPIRATION: No gift works itself, neither is excellence a gift but a spirit. No matter how highly gifted you are, if you do nothing with it, you'd soon become redundant. Excellence is a product of consistent and persistent labour. The more you repeat an action, the more mastery you gain with and from it. Except Bezaleel had gone to work with his gifts, all the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that God filled him with would have come to waste! Grace does not cancel the dignity of hard work. Rather, grace makes you work smart, creates more opportunities and puts you and your products in the hearts of men for continuous patronage. If you hide under the guise of grace to be lazy, you're not following the example of Christ, who said, ‭‭“My Father never stops working, and so I work too" (John‬ ‭5:17‬). Zerubbabel went to work with his hand and was sold out to it until completion. Get to work already! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: ‭This is not a feel good motivation but your marching orders for the year! Work calls!! Will you answer or decline? PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to work my gift with great diligence and utmost dedication. May I not despise the place of hardwork and thereby frustrate Your grace upon my life. Guide me to do right always, in Jesus name.
