Worker injured at Camden EMR scrapyard

The embattled EMR scrapyard in Camden is making headlines again after officials say a worker was injured over the weekend, just a few days after operations at the facility resumed. Camden County spokesman Dan Keashen says the worker was hurt badly in what appears to be an accident involving a cable snapping late Saturday night. Last month, the city of Camden ordered the facility to shut down operations following more than a dozen fires over the course of several years. But a judge, earlier this month, allowed EMR to reopen.
