Workers Needed - Highlife 3-20-19

This week, in Highlife, Steve will talk about Jesus declaring that “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” He make proposes the idea that part of the reason that there aren’t enough laborers is simply that we are “inward” focused instead of “outward” focused. If we truly felt compassion for the lost, like Jesus did, we would be willing to do the work. Some people might say that Christians are simply lazy. While this might be true for some, Steve believes that it is more due to Christians not seeing the world through the eyes of Christ. Consider these questions while listening to this podcast: 1) Do you believe that feeling compassion for people would change you? 2) Explain to yourself why so many Christians seem un-concerned about the people who are not saved. 3) Are you willing to allow God to make you feel compassion for the lost? Even if it will “cost” you?
