Working Against Violence

Today, I invite you to listen, consider, and act on whatever feels important.  Joining me in this conversation is Annette Bennett - Tlingit mother, auntie, and the Executive Director of a nonprofit working with people impacted by violence (Working Against Violence for Everyone or WAVE) in Petersburg, Alaska. They also remind us that consent is about so much more than just sex.  We talk about the joys of parenting, connecting back to the 'why' that's behind what you're doing, the most difficult thing about running a non-profit, and personal boundaries (aka how they take care of themselves).  It was a lovely and important conversation.
