Since her official retirement, she has held positions as interim president of the Michigan Colleges Foundation, and now president of the Detroit Public Schools Foundation. In addition she serves on the Boards of Focus: HOPE, Detroit Receiving Hospital, The Jewish Fund, Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, The YES Foundation, and the Council of Michigan Foundations.
