Working Overtime (Edit)

Homage to Heatwave in general and Rod Temperton in particular. Girl what you do to me, I can't begin to say But I need more than twenty-four hours in any one day Understand I'm only one man And you got me working overtime Doing all I can Girl the way your treating me got no long term benefits I don't want for you to set me free, but I can't take any more of it I'm flat out working day and night Pulling every shift of overtime to try to make things right Overtime to make you mine I don't mind working hard As long as I get my reward When all I wanna do is make sweet love to you Take each moment as it comes and goes the whole day through But I can't do the things I really want with all this pressure on So give me my P45 and let me breathe again I'm taking back control of my life This contract's at an end See I don't mind working overtime But I got my hands full enough working on your love
