Working with the cocoon and the chrysalis
from Wolf Child Magick · host Ashlie
Send us Fan MailFollowing the voted majority of a nature-based episode, I kept coming back to this idea of cocooning and going within, especially in this time. Winter naturally leads to cocooning, incubating, and insulating. Although it is often talked about in a much more consumer or home-decor focus today, winter invites a retreat into the internal and the darkness. At the same time, winter allows the process of transformation to occur by initiating the death-cycles, the breakdowns, and the barrenness. In this episode, we discuss the beautiful life-cycle of the butterfly, the process of self-metamorphosis, the journey of spiritual migration, and the unseen magick in the chrysalis.
