Works of Mercy That Slay Sloth | Giving Drink to the Thirsty & Praying for the Living and the Dead

Greetings, young slayers! In today’s episode, Sir Rolland continues our Lenten journey by confronting the Yellow Dragon of Sloth through two powerful works of mercy: giving drink to the thirsty and praying for the living and the dead. Through the inspiring witness of Saints Perpetua and Felicity, the story of the woman at the well, and a marathon run offered in prayer for 26 souls, we are reminded that small acts of love and perseverance can quench both physical and spiritual thirst. When we serve others and lift souls to God in prayer, zeal replaces apathy and the dragon of sloth begins to flee.Stay zealous… and slay the Yellow Dragon of Sloth!------------------------------------------------------Saturdays with Sir Rolland is your weekly Catholic kids podcast on the art of dragon slaying — where dragons are sins, temptations, and obstacles to become saints, and we are called to become great dragon slayers!Streaming: www.dragonslayers.tvTraining Guild: www.extraordinarymission.com/dragonslayersThe 7 Deadly Dragons Book Series: www.extraordinarymission.com/7deadlydragonsIOS App: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dragonslayerstv/id6748481776Android App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tv.uscreen.dragonslayers
