WORKSHOP SERIES: Lighting Programming & Design, Session 1 with Jeff Beachy

from Creative Tides Ministry · host Creative Tides

Jeff Beachy is a volunteer in the Worship Arts Ministry at Rolling Hills Community Church in Tualatin, Oregon. Since 2005 he has been the lighting designer and programmer for worship services and drama productions and he operates lighting on most weekends in addition to serving as the house lighting tech for outside events. He has also served as a service director, video director and camera operator, set designer, and, very occasionally, audio engineer, including about 10 years as a part time staff member at RHCC. His tool of choice is the ETC EOS family of lighting consoles, though he currently uses the Geo @5. His day job is chief technologist at a small enterprise software company in the media industry. Jeff earned a master's degree in electrical engineering in 1985 and has programmed some pretty dreadful Python for work and fun. This workshop occurred on May 17, 2025 at Northwest Christian Church in Newberg, OR. www.creative-tides.com
