How did World Card Making Day get started? In 2006 Paper Craft magazine names the first Saturday in October as World Card Making Day - a day to celebrate cardmakers! It has "world" in it so that no matter where we live we can make a handmade card and be thinking of all of the people around the world doing this on the same day - what a way to be "together" **** Its a perfect way to kick off the fall season of card making and crafting —— time to start thinking about cards & gifts for Christmas! Don't forget Halloween and Thanksgiving and autumn in general too!
