World Changers || Pastor Jason Sharp
from Messages at CalvaryOKC Hosted by CalvaryOKC
The world doesn't need more opinions. It needs disciples. Pastor Jason Sharp preached a powerful message from the Sermon on the Mount, reminding us that Jesus never called His followers to blend in with the world—He called them to change it. "You are the salt of the earth." "You are the light of the world." Salt preserves. Light exposes darkness. And both influence everything around them. The challenge of the message was simple: Stop waiting for someone else to change the world around you. Be the change. World changers don't complain about darkness. They become light. World changers don't blend into culture. They influence culture. World changers don't merely hear the Word. They obey it. A teachable spirit allows God to shape us. Obedience protects us. Humility positions us. And love demonstrates Christ to the world. Jesus taught us to: Love our enemies Forgive offenses Pray for those who mistreat us Go the extra mile Live differently than the world Because the greatest testimony is not what we say. It's how we live. "You'll never be a light until you do something different." The world is changed when believers live like Jesus.
