WORLD CUP BOUND
from Forward Pressing Hosted by Forward Pressing
In this week's episode, we discuss Canada's 1st World Cup qualification in our lifetime. We discuss the progress made by the team over the recent years, the impact of John Herdman on Canadian soccer, and what to expect from Canada in Qatar. We'll also talk about Italy's failure to qualify for a World Cup for the 2nd time. Who takes the blame for this? Will Mancini be sacked and who will replace him? Lastly, we'll talk about Gareth Bale and the disrespect by the Spanish media. Is he really a "parasite" in Madrid? Has he not earned the accolades that players like Benzema and Cr7 have received in the past? Is he one of the most scrutinized players today? Question of the week: Which Concacaf team has the best chance at making it furthest in the WC?
