There’s no quit in Argentina as they come from behind to beat Egypt three to two. After halftime, Egypt’s Mostafa Ziko would score a goal increasing Egypt’s lead two to nothing. Despite Egypt having the lead, the defending champions Argentina would not be denied. The fate of the game changed when in the 79th minute Argentina’s Cristian Romero scored a goal cutting Egypt’s lead two to one. They say there are players and there are champions and Lionel Messi has been every bit of a champion and then some as he once again displayed that championship pedigree scoring a goal in the 83rd minute to tie the game at two. Argentina would seal the deal in the 92nd minute with Enzo Fernandez scoring a goal to give Argentina the win three to two. Argentina will face the winner of the Switzerland and Colombia match in the quarterfinals on July 11th in Kansas City, Missouri.
