The round of 32 also known as the knockout stage continued with a thrilling game at Houston Stadium in the city of Houston, Texas between Brazil and Japan with Brazil winning two to one eliminating Japan from the tournament. The first point in the game came in the 29th minute of the first half with Japan’s Kaishu Sano scoring a goal giving Japan a one to nothing lead. In the 56th minute of the second half, Brazil got on the board with Casemiro scoring a goal tying the game at one. Within the closing moments of the game, Brazil’s Gabriel Martinelli scored a goal in the 90th + 5th minute to give Brazil the win.
