World Food Programme cautions about food shortages in the Southern Africa

The World Food Programme, WFP has warned that a record forty-five million people - mostly women and children - in the sixteen-nation Southern African Development Community, SADeC are gravely food insecure. This follows repeated drought, widespread flooding and economic disarray. As the crisis deepens, the WFP has called on the world to step up now to save lives and enable communities to adapt to climate change.
