World War 2: Episode 74: August 10-16, 1945

This episode focuses on the correspondence from an U.S. Army Captain stationed in Germany to his wife in Three Oaks, Michigan.   Do you think the war with Japan is over.  I hope so.  Then I can come home to you.  Return to normal life. Well honey it is all over.  It really don’t seem possible.  Thank god I out lived this war, but Janey many of times I thought it was all over for me.  I really hope I never have to go thru anything like this again.
