World War 2: Episode 75: August 17th - 24th, 1945

This episode focuses on the correspondence from an U.S. Army Captain deployed in Germany to his wife in Three Oaks, Michigan.   All morning we sat around talking about nothing in particular.  And this afternoon I slept until now.  It 4:00 P.M. with all this time on my hands. All day today we stayed in the house and just looked at each other.  We did play a fun game of hearts.  They are playing hearts right now, only I got out, and I’m going to bed. Janey I sure wish I could get home before Xmas.  There are rumors we may ship in either November or December. While I'm behind, letters are being posted to Gintherscott.com.
