World's oceans hit record-high July temperatures, EU's climate monitoring service says

The world's oceans hit an all-time record-high average temperature of 20.96°C for the month of July, according to a report released by the EU's Copernicus Climate Change Service. This peak surpassed the previous July milestone of 20.89°C.
