One thing is for sure, there are external factors that can influence our worship heavily. The reality is only one thing matters to God: it’s the condition of our heart. We cannot be true worshippers if our worship is shaped by the traditions and expectations of men. The Lord doesn’t want worship born out of religious duty. He wants worship born out of sincerity, authenticity, and obedience. He’s seeking worshippers who will worship him in spirit and in truth.
