Worship daily.

from Daily Steps Podcast Hosted by Footsteps.Online

Worship God daily. I have often heard the phrase “worship is a lifestyle”, and I never understood what it meant, especially since I thought worshipping is just in singing and praising God at church. Then one day I came across this scripture that says, “For in him we live and move and have our being” in Acts 17:28. I realized that there had to be more to God than just singing in church and telling Him how big He is. I realized that I had to live out a life that acknowledges and reflects whatever I was singing in church. When I say, “You are mighty Lord”, I had to fully put my total trust in Him and allow for His might to manifest in my life without me trying to help Him out. I realized that I must really live a life of love if I am going to tell Him that I love Him. I knew that I would have to praise Him meaningfully, even through the darkest of situations, if I was going to tell Him that “I praise you, Lord.” My worship moved from just saying and feeling great about the songs, to literally living out and applying every lyric in my life beyond the church. That was when I began living for Christ, wholeheartedly, and I encourage you to do the same.
