God loves you very much. God also loves Himself. God knows that He is God. God knows how valuable He is. As a result, God values Himself above all things.God is not egotistical, thinking more highly of Himself than He should. He’s the only God, so it is imperative that He thinks of Himself as He truly is.God valuing Himself above all things, doesn’t stop Him from loving you with the greatest love known to man. Through the death of His Son, God has made a way for you to return to His loving arms, washed clean and forgiven because of the price He paid at the cross of Jesus Christ.God wants you to know Him intimately. (This is what God wants for you.) Your spirit was once dormant because of sin.(Sin didn’t make us bad, Sin made us dead!) God seeks to stir your soul to life again, giving you the capacity to walk in intimacy with Him. Restoring your ability to worship Him with all your heart.1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.God loves turning rebels into worshipers.
