Quite the "Famous Friday Show" today, with John Brazer (Director of Fun & Games for the Philadelphia Phillies) calling in to give a heads-up about the happenings at the ballpark this weekend. In addition to it being a big series versus the New York Mets, the Phillies are honoring longtime president & CEO David Montgomery (Friday), Manny Trillo (key member of the 1980 World Series championship team) with his Phillies Wall of Fame induction on Saturday, and "Number Retirement Day" for Roy Halladay (Sunday). Worship leader (and Camden-born, Maple Shade, NJ-raised) Paul Baloche joins the show too. He'll be doing a free concert this Sunday August 8 at the Ocean City Tabernacle (www.octabernacle.org) following former MLB World Series champion & All-Star Darryl Strawberry who speaks at the 830am & 1030am services. Baloche has written and collaborated on hundreds of songs including "Open The Eyes of My Heart," "Above All," "Hosanna" and "Your Name."
